Established in 1965, the College of Business has enrollment at about 4800 students and 74 full-time faculties.

Features

˙In the field of Industrial Economics, College of Business is the only college in Taiwan which constitute a full program, namely, undergraduate, MA and Ph.D. program. The Department of International Trade establishes curriculums in English, which is the first Department having courses offend mainly in English.

˙In order to encourage international and cross-strait academic exchange, College of Business establishes a cooperative program with Curtin University in Australia to add alternative ways of studying abroad and signed contracts of the exchange of teachers and students with South-Western University of Finance and Economics in Mainland China.

˙Our graduates possess the capabilities both in theory and practice. According to the survey of the ideal graduate Department with enterprises by 1111.com, our graduates of International Trade major was ranked top in the year 2004 the most popular.

˙Our Research Center of Industry and Finance set up research platform in order to  cooperate with teachers in related fields and to form research group to do further research to create our own special research features.

Future Development

˙Adjusting researching and teaching service of each department to fulfill the demand of social development in the future.

˙Recruiting teachers whom equipped with Ph.D. degree and research potentials to promote the quality of teaching and research of faculty.

˙Strengthening exchange of ideas on teaching methods among departments of College of Business and inter department and inter colleges communication, in order to obtain new knowledge from other fields.

˙Urging exchanges of activities with other universities and enterprises in order to  integrate theories with practices.

˙Promoting international academic exchange and designing curriculum in English and junior abroad programs in order to cultivate students’ world of view.

˙Elaborating the functions of the Research Center of Industry and Finance to link research resources of the college with other universities and accept applied research plans.

˙Educating students to obtain professional knowledge and equip them with the competence of practicing by reinforcing the application of professional curriculum.
