Rules for Cross-Strait Financial Research Center
1.	The Cross-Strait Financial Research Center (hereunder the Center) is established to enhance scholastic research as well as elevate related social service functions.
2.	The Center is a tier 2 unit affiliated to the Office of Research and Development of Tamkang University (the University) and operates on a self-funded basis.
3.	Functions of the Center are:
	a. Promoting scholastic researches related to cross-strait financial issues.
	b. Applying for and carrying out strategic key research projects of the University.
	c. Receiving related research projects commissioned by organizations outside the University.
	d. Other related affairs.
4.	A director leads the center. The director, commissioned by the principal of the University, is to have a capacity of full-time professor in the University. The director is to supervise and coordinate research projects and administrative affairs of the Center. The director is not remunerated by the University.
5.	The Center could be subdivided into sections to facilitate necessary operations.
6.	These rules are to be implemented after the approval of Administrative Council of the University, so does when the rules are amended.
