To cooperate with the computerization of TKU's administrative affairs by compiling the management of associated computers,thereby providing the best computer operation for TKU's faculties, employees, and students.

Operation Management Section is responsible for the proper operation, backup operation, security control,and software and hardware maintenance and repair of  RS/6000 servers, related peripheral equipments, and IDC (Internet Data Center). IDC manages TKU's servers collectively, and operates year-round. To meet the above expectations, it has UPS, generator,dual backup air conditioning equipment, basic smog detection alarm system, and FE-13 non-contaminating automated fire-extinguishing equipment. With respect to security, IDC has card entrance control, ultra red detector, digital image recording, and instant web surveillance. In addition, IDC has environmental surveillance system to control electricity, air conditioning, fire alarm, location backup equipment  entrance system, as well as automated distance-reporting functions.In the area of information backup, IDC is equipped with multi- to ensure information safekeeping. To cooperate with TKU's overall operation, university affairs system is open from 8:30 to 21:00, Monday through Friday, during school year.IDC is open 24 hours, year-round.
