Introduction

The Graduate Institute of European
Studies offers a variety of courses for the master's degree (two to four
years of study on average) in the fields of European Integration and
Slavic studies. Since 2000, our Institute has offered the doctor's
program in the same field as master's degree. Since 2009, we have set up
two divisions of European Union and Slavic Studies at the master's level.
There are 159 full-time students in
our Institute. For master's level, all of the applicants have to complete
their undergraduate studies in the fields of social sciences or European
main languages. For the doctorate level, the applicants need to have
their master's degree.
The eleven full-time faculty members
of our Institute represent different academic backgrounds. All have their
own research interests in the fields of European and Russian politics,
economics and culture, etc. They all hold Ph. D. degrees from major
European universities, for instance, Wien
University, Bonn
University, Madrid
University and Moscow
State University.

1.
To hold the
international academic conferences with domestic and foreign
institutes, it not only will improve the academic cooperation, but also
promote the status of the institute.

To Provide and innovate
PhD. degree courses about the European Studies .
We also encourage our students to conduct the research abroad, to
experience the multi-cultures of Europe,
and to achieve the goal of "Internationalization".
